SITH Feed the Children Initiative

“We are extremely excited to launch the feed the child initiative in our restaurant division along with Pen Foundation. Pen foundation is an Abuja based NGO that has been actively involved in improving quality of life for vulnerable and disenfranchised families.

The internally displaced children at the IDP camp in Durumi, Abuja have over 4000 children who are in need of humanitarian assistance as they continue to suffer the deadly consequences of Boko Haram & Banditry insurgencies in northeastern part of Nigeria. The war has sparked displacement on a large scale thereby the need of corporate organizations to render a helping hand to these children and other families who are desperate for safety, and nourishment. At Pizza Hut, Movenpick and StrEat Cafe, we feed and delight over 50,000 customers who visit our restaurants every month. We believe that it is part of our responsibility to provide those who do not have the means, with a nutritious meal. We intent to feed children with healthy and nourishing food prepared using best international practices. It is an opportunity to engage with them through games and fun activities.
